SUMMARY:
Join us for a week of summer fun in the Artist Lab at Prospect Theater! Kids Summer Spotlight is a week-long, skills-based theater program for middle graders who love to move, play, and use their imaginations. No previous theater experience is required.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE OUTLINE:
Mon-Fri:
8:45AM – Drop off begins
9AM – (program start) Movement
9:30AM – Voice
9:50AM – Arts & Crafts/Special Activity
10:30AM – Snack break
10:45AM – Theater Games
11AM – Rehearsal
12PM – Pick-up (program end)
The final Friday of the program will culminate in an open house for family members to celebrate the work of Spotlight participants!

Health And Safety 2023
Health and safety are the number one top priority for all our campers and staff. We ask if your child gets sick or feels unwell to please not bring them to program and email us at angelina@prospecttheaterproject.org letting us know. We continue to monitor information from the CDC and other authorities as the environment and expectations continue to change. Arrival/Departure
Early drop-off begins at 8:45am and program begins at 9am. Parents/Guardians must sign in/out with a summer program staff. Pick up time for kids is at 12pm. Please note that we will not be offering after-hours care at this time.
What to Bring
Students are asked to wear clothing they can easily move around in, close-toed shoes, bring their own water bottles, nut-free snacks, and a yoga mat or beach towel every day to the program. There will be a 15 a minute snack break during program.
Behavior
It is understood that students are to behave in a respectful and polite manner during the program. Profanity, verbal disrespect, rough housing, name calling, bullying, pushing, vandalism, shoving of any kind are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Students who repeatedly violate the rules and guidelines will be expelled without a refund. Parents may not upbraid, insult or otherwise abuse Summer Acting Camp staff and/or other students.
Electronic Devices
The summer program is a “device-free” program. We want students to turn off their screens and fully explore their imagination and creativity! As such, students may not use any cell phones or other electronic devices during the camp. Students can bring a cell phone with them for emergency purposes ONLY. Students are also not allowed to bring any cameras, video cameras, or recording devices with them to camp. If any of these items are brought to program, they will be kept in the Artist Lab office until the end of the program.
Media
It is understood that all images, testimonials, photos, video, and audio taken at or in connection with the summer program are the sole and exclusive property of Artist Lab and Prospect Theater Project and may be used for promotional materials, marketing, and online media.
Cancellation
Please read this section carefully. If you desire to cancel your enrollment, you must notify us in writing via email. We will not accept cancellations over the phone or via voicemail.
- Written refund requests done before May 26th will be refunded entirely except for $50 this is a non-refundable deposit fee to cover the cost of registration.
- Written refund requests done before June 1st will be refunded entirely except for 50% of the tuition.
- Written refund requests made after June 5th will be subject to a credit for a future youth program session.
Privacy
Artist Lab does not share any student and/or parent registration information with any other parties. Artist Lab does not share email addresses with any outside parties, and emails from Artist Lab are confined solely to communications regarding the summer program.
