A True Partnership
PTP is here for one reason: we believe our community will benefit from the active presence and outreach of a local, professional quality theater project. Crucial to our success is the support of community members and business leaders who share our priorities.

As you are aware, no theater can survive solely on its box office receipts. It is only because of art supporters like you that PTP is able to produce high quality theater, offer a range of unique theatrical workshops, and provide space in which local

visual artists can show their work. By giving to PTP, you and/or your business is publicly and pragmatically demonstrating support for the local arts, collaborative outreach efforts, and youth education.

Your donation to PTP will generate positive publicity, a tax deduction, and a stronger community.

Independent and In-kind Giving
Public benefit organizations like PTP depend on community support for all aspects of their operation.

We so much appreciate all of the financial and in-kind goods and service gifts we have received from generous local arts supporters and supportive local businesses. These have permitted us to secure and upgrade a gem of a performance space and produce an inaugural season marked by critical and popular acclaim.

But our success and our subsequent ability to meet our outreach objectives depend upon continued support. Any personal donation or gift from your business will be recognized publicly by PTP. The same donation is also eligible for tax deduction status as a gift to a California nonprofit and federally exempt (501C3) organization.

PTP needs all manner of support. Cash gifts are, of course, always easily applied to the immediate needs of the project. The theater has, in addition, diverse service and in-kind gift needs. Please don't be shy about asking; creative giving helps us both.

Defined Giving Program
PTP also offers the following defined giving programs which enable business donors to efficiently and effectively consider a method of giving that meets their individual needs. As with independent and in-kind giving, funds used for the patronage of PTP in any of the following options are tax deductible.

Sponsoring a Performance: A performance may be sponsored for a gift of $500. In addition to billing the performance as sponsored by your organization, PTP will:

Print your Company/Business name prominently on all mailings (print and e-mail) and all promotional print materials

Sponsoring a Weekend: A weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday matinee) may be sponsored for a gift of $1,000. In addition to billing the three performances as sponsored by your organization, PTP will:

Include your company/business name and logo on all mailings (print and e-mail).
Highlight your sponsorship in all press releases and on all Internet publications.
Provide four complimentary tickets and a commemorative poster signed by the cast.
Celebrate your sponsorship on a permanent plaque in the theater lobby.

Sponsoring a Show: The full run of a show (three weekends) may be sponsored for a gift of $5,000. In addition to billing the entire show as sponsored by your organization, PTP will:

Provide all of the benefits listed offered under our weekend sponsorship option.
Produce a performance exclusively for your employees and clients, or an audience of your choice such as a favored charity.
Host a "talk back" reception featuring our Artistic Director and actors from the show following your exclusive performance
